「 江島が「ネットは社会」だというのは、よく分かるけど、でも、厳密に言えば「近似だ」くらいでしょう？ボディ・コンタクトがないこと一つとっても、大きな違いなんだから。その差異にフォーカスするかどうかだけど、しかし、どんな時だって、差異にフォーカスしなければ、両者の正確な姿はつかめないし、何が今、新しく起こりつつあるのか、分からないんじゃないかな。
うっ！なるほど、これは鋭いな。。。「同じである」ということよりも、「同じである」と言い切ってしまうことでこぼれ落ちてしまう「差異」の機微にこそフォーカスするべきだ、というのはその通りやね。
そしてご指摘通り、ネットについて追い込んだ議論をすると、いつも最後には身体性の問題へと行き着いてしまう。。。ここから先は、俺自身にもよくわからない。ただ、ネット以前にはまったくもって体験したことのない、第六感というのか、脳の違う部分が感覚器官として反応しているような不安な快感というのはあるのだけれど。
あ、だから「顔のない裸体たち」読めってか。（笑）
俺は、もしかしたら、「ネットもリアルも同じだ」というビッグピクチャーを伝えたいあまり、抽象度を上げすぎていたのかも。これは、こうやって指摘されなかったら気付くことはなかっただろうなぁ。。。ありがと。」

「社会にとって一種の手触りとして、即座にその利益が実感できないような事柄について語る難しさというのをよく感じます。結局、そういう問題を扱うためのジャンルの棲み分けとして、ネットではなくて、小説の世界の方に踏みとどまろうとしているのかな。小説が日常に挿入するのは、１秒ごとに刻まれる生活の時間の目盛りとは別の、数十年、数百年単位の目盛りだと思います。「現在」というのは、常にそのどちらの目盛りの上にも立っているはずだけど、普段は前者しか見ないからね。」
